Zamora Conecta – Promoting rural tourism
Zamora is a region in north-western Spain, known for its cultural and gastronomic specialities and breathtaking landscapes. Zamora Conecta helps to leverage this previously untapped potential. It helps local stakeholders to turn their ideas into digital and experience-oriented offerings. The aim is to create a sustainable tourism model that meets the needs of international guests.
| Challenges/assessment | Our solution |
| Low level of digitalisation, lack of online visibility | Further training in marketing, digitalisation, storytelling |
| Seasonal dependencies, underutilised capacities | Mentoring programmes for the implementation of specific projects |
| Lack of networking between local stakeholders | Community building among tourism stakeholders |
| Growing demand for authentic, sustainable experiences | Support in the development of sustainable products |
